Jet Performance Chips give you faster acceleration, increased towing capacity, greater torque and horsepower, and speed increases in passing and on the highway. The first task of a high performance Jet chip is to add consistency and control to the throttle. That precision dramatically affects overall drivability and engine performance throughout the entire system
Q: Does this have stamped BPKR 16252710 Answer this question
A: I reached out to JET and they are asking you to reach out to them and send them a picture of what you are looking at. That might be the casting on the part but it should just have their sticker with the part number on it.

Q: will this work for a 1995 f250 5.8L gas engine ? Answer this question
A: Hello there, the Jet Performance Products Stage 2 Performance Upgrade Computer Chip part number JET29305S will not work with your 1995 f250 5.8L. They offer a JET Ford Module part number JET89507. Performance tuning is more difficult on Ford vehicles since the factory computer does not have a chip that can be easily replaced. To solve the problem JET developed a plug in module that attaches to the vehicle computer externally that can add up to 30 horsepower. The JET Ford Module optimizes the ignition spark advance, air to fuel ratios and transmission shifting for the ultimate in power and mileage gains. JET's exclusive Dynamic Spectrum Tuning provides optimal performance across the entire power band-not just at full throttle. Great for towing or SUV applications, all out street performance cars and everyday drivers. Daily drivers can use lower cost regular fuel for potential mileage gains, but for optimal performance gains use of mid-grade or better is recommended. Improves throttle response, acceleration and low end torque. Simple, plug-in installation in less than 30 minutes. Also works well with aftermarket intake and exhaust systems, mass air sensors, TBI spacers, etc. 50 state smog legal.
