The JET Accu-Speed modifies the vehicle speed sensor output readings to correct the speedometer after making gear ratio or tire size changes. Shift points in automatic transmissions are also corrected. The Accu-Speed connects to the transmission output speed sensor and is calibrated with the turn of a switch.
My truck is shifting when it should
was able to get speedometer accurate easily. had to call manuf. to clarify instructions and get wire color for my vehicle it wasn't listed
Works good on my dodge ram. Have to have a shop book on truck to help out but it goings in nice. One on and good to go work great.
Much easier than swapping the speedometer drive gears. I dialed in the speedometer to exact speed with gps. Change tire size, noproblem readjust speedometer in secounds. I whish is could use it with my older Jeep commanche.

Q: I have a 2005 Tacoma auto with tall tires and changed rear gears. The shift points are screwed up, Iread you don't sell a recalibrater for my truck. Hypertech does. do you know if you fix the speedo will that get my tranny shift points correct. Are you planning on making one to fit my Tacoma?thanks Ken Answer this question
A: Ken- Thanks for the question. Using a speedometer calibrator can help the ECU correct the shift points back to where they should be as it allows the ECU to see the actual speed of the vehicle. We do have the Hypertech unit for your 2005 Toyota Tacoma here http://jo.my/ib6xw9
