My used '07 JK I purchased a year ago had an aftermarket hardtop. The previous owner just attached the top, but did not install the kit and hardware to utilize the rear wiper/etc. Yes, it comes complete with everything - even wire ties! It took me just better than 5 hours by myself. Instructions are included and are pretty self-explanatory, for the most part. I had three difficulties: 1) threading the harness through the firewall. I was already using the factory designated hole for wiring on some of my other accessories, so it was a very tight squeeze and I'm unable to use the included grommet. 2) You will be disconnecting the factory wiring harness(es) from the underside of the fuse box under the hood, and de-pinning a couple wires in the factory plugs. These plugs/connectors are plastic and can break easy, so take your time. Here, the instructions were so-so, so be sure to double-check everything before you go hacking up the connector! Instructions ask you to solder a wire (they even include heat shrink for this task) during this step, but I opted to simply cut and attach a spade terminal with heat shrink. PAY ATTENTION to the wire coloring! 3) At the very end, you will still have to go to a dealer so they can access the brain box. They have to "add" the feature to your VIN and this is NOT something that Flashcal or any of the other "programmers" will do - there is no way around this. Overall, it is a pretty straight-forward installation. HIGHLY recommended to get a set of trim removal tools, but this is really the only specialty tool you should need (aside from a T20 Torx bit to remove the covers on the steering column), and be sure to have a spare gallon (or two) of fresh washer fluid, as you will be draining whatever is currently in the tank. I also have a "stubby" phillips screwdriver to access those tight spaces. Might as well get some of your favorite interior/trim cleaner and some rags to clean those hidden spots and a shop vac for all the crud.
