I was super excited to try these shocks since I had seen lots of good reviews from other truck owners, but couldn't find a ton of info for the RAM owners. Well, that's because they DONT FIT. You have to cut & grind your shock mounts to get enough clearance. I am sorry, but these are called "vehicle specific" shocks. Shouldn't that mean they FIT the vehicle they are specific to? ICONs response is that you must have at least 1/4 inch clearance, which means you will have to cut about 1/4 - 1/2 inch off the outside tab, and will need to cut a hole on the inside of the shock mount so that they shock doesn't hit when the eyelet compresses. This seems like a very poor idea at cost cutting. I will be returning these to purchase ANY other shock on the planet for the RAM because they all fit WITHOUT cutting up my mounts.
