Go Rhino Rockline Tire Carrier

I bought this because it was available and I needed a tire carrier quickly after upgrading to 35s. The install was fairly straight forward but the fitment was a bit off. The body mounts were very difficult to line up and the vinyl gaskets that were provided didn’t stick at all. I had to use painters tape to help get everything together. After getting it all put together, my tire still wouldn’t fit because I have 35s on the factory sport wheels…the mount wouldn’t come out far enough…I need about 1.5 more inches…I’m going to just get some spacer brackets to put behind so I can get it all secured up. All that said, the worst part of this carrier is how they integrate the factory rear view camera. It mounts into a license plate bracket that goes on after the spare tire is mounted. This makes changing a flat a cumbersome operation because you have to disassemble part of the tire carrier just to take off the spare. The factory integration is much better. Other than all this, it seems like a very sturdy body mount tire carrier. We’ll see how it holds up over time.
