The install was easy for a one man job, took maybe an hour. I am pleased with the look and functionality. The only bad note was that while installing 2 of the mounting bolts broke had to head to a hardware store to replace them cost was about a dollar. Overall very happy with product.

The instructions are confusing, it says no drilling needed but at the end, it says drilling required. 1.How does this unit mount to the tailgate? 2. do you have to remove the center tail light? 3. Do you have to remove the spare tire? Thanks for your help, Rae J in Ok.

Asked by Jeep name: Wildfire from Tulsa, Ok on

R. Johnson- Thanks for the question. The Garvin Industries Trail Rack bolts on to the tailgate without drilling. You do not need to remove the third brake light but you will need to remove the spare to gain access to the bolts.
