Very strong rack;
I wish I knew before starting I would need black silicon and a T47 bit that does not come with the Wrangler factory kit. So documentation could be clearer. With pictures, not only drawings. I am an electrical engineer, I have a lot of tools and experience but not much to play with the car, it took me about 10 hours to put this in place working alone, puzzled. If I had to do it a second time knowing what I was doing it would take probably around 3 hours. So, product very nice, manual poor, lost a star. I would buy again.

One of the strongest built racks you can buy for the wrangler. Finish is not great. Will rust after the first season of use. Should be powdercoated for the price.

perfect, easy to install.

Great Rack !
Finally a rack that doesn't look like it was built out of an Erector Set . Even though the rack is only 4" deep the rack , brackets and rails raise it 7" off the top of the jeep .
Don't order if you're in a hurry though , it took 3 weeks to get .
Be sure and order the wind deflector , it really helps cut down the wind noise and uplift .
Would have given it 5 stars except the instructions were so bad . Should have been vehicle specific and in sequential order .

The install was easy for a one man job, took maybe an hour. I am pleased with the look and functionality. The only bad note was that while installing 2 of the mounting bolts broke had to head to a hardware store to replace them cost was about a dollar. Overall very happy with product.
This part number only fits the 2007 to 2016 Jeep JK Wrangler 4 Door Models. GRV44092 is the part number for the 2 door models. Thank you.

After this is installed how much weight can you carry?? If you are not using the rack can it be taken off with just the rails on top?? Thank you...

All roof racks are rated for 300 lb of evenly displaced load. You can simply remove the rack when not in use. Thank you for the question.

Will I be able to carry two kayaks with this product?
Kel from Ft. Worth, TX on
Yes, you can carry two kayaks provided both are less than 4" wide. This works with all 4"H Garvin/Wilderness Racks. Each kit contains 4 brackets to attach two Yakima/Thule crossbars. Thank you.
