Q: I have a 07 jk Sahara with a 2.5" lift and 35" tires, my jeep is also automatic if that makes a difference, but I would like to put 5.13 gearing on both my dana 30( front) and dana 44(rear) axles. What will I need to get and will I need new carriers? Or is there a better gear ratio that I should go with? Answer this question
A: Hello Mike The 513's are a good choice for your Jeep with the automatic transmission. The rear carrier will work with all ratios. The Dana 30 has a case break so it may need replacing depending on your current ratio. If you have the 321 gears it will need to be replaced. Part number D/S 2010999 Thanks

Q: I have a 2009 jeep jku. I have a 4inch suspension and a 2inch body. Im currently running 35inch tires its getting close for new ones, im thinking with going with 37 or 40inch. Currently im at a lack of power with 373 gears dana 44 on rear and 30 on front, my question is this, what gear should I go with and what all parts are going to be needed was told by a friend I would have to change my carriers I have completely stock axles no lockers Thanks Answer this question
A: Hello Robbie Your friend is wrong on the carriers. The Dana 30 is 373 and up so you are covered there. The JK 44's use the 373 and down carrier no matter what gear ratio. Even the JK's with 410's out of the factory have a 373 down carrier. So all you would need is front and rear gears along with install kits. Here are some part numbers for you. front G/2 2-2050-513r G/2 35-2050 rear G/2 2-2052-513 and G/2 35-2053 thanks

Q: I have a 97 ford expedition xlt with 35's i was wondering if this would be a good fit for what i have. Answer this question
A: Hello The gear you have listed is for the Jeep Wrangler. Your Expedition's runs the Ford 9.75 if it has the 5.4 motor or the 8.8 with the 4.6 motor. We would recommend the ratio 456 for your vehicle.
