Thanks for the question.
This will only work for your vehicle if you have the 4.6L engine.
Question for Mazda B4000, year 2001, "Dual Sport", built on the 4-wheel drive frame, no modifications to this vehicle: Will this part (PN:g/245-2013-28) bolt in my Mazda (Ford) Mazda B4000 rear axle? It presently has a Ford rear axle code "95" (8.8" ring gear and 3.55 gear ratio/not limited slip)and I would like it to be equivalent to Ford's code R5 which is a limited slip differential. Would the axle shafts remain the same? Could I keep the original ring and pinion gear? Will it fit inside the case? Any hidden "goblins" to rear their head in such a swap if such a swap is possible?

Hi Wes This G/2 unit is a direct replacement for the factory unit and will not have any issues installing this your existing bearings and gear will fit. the only recommendation i have is to bet a bottle of friction modifier http://jo.my/439ixv to insure smooth clutch operation and a good gear oil like the Lucas brand of oils http://jo.my/gearoil . Thank Youi
