The G2 Core DRS is a state-of-the-art off-road sway bar system for your Jeep Wrangler JK. The system is pneumatically controlled and provides two levels of vehicle stability at the flip of a switch. Built from premium aluminum and chromoly steel materials, the G2 Core DRS is the last sway bar you'll ever need.
Clean, robust, and fully functional. Pete at Oakland 4WP provided excellent service.
Install was easy as it was just a parts swap. The only con is that the air line is just a hard plastic tube. Would like for it to be made out of sturdier tubing or maybe encased in a braided tube.
Probably won’t get time to install for awhile but the build quality looks good. The shipping specs show a 1/3 weight savings over stock Mopar system which could be a good system if they would sell replacement actuators at a reasonable cost. I thought the end arms would be aluminum for even more weight savings but that would increase the complexity and cost significantly I’m sure.
The best sway bar system for my jku. undeniable. thx

Q: Can this system be hard wired into the existing JK Rubicon dashboard switch? Answer this question
A: To use this system you would need an air source (i.e. onboard air compressor) and an air solenoid. The air solenoid could be wired to your current switch.

A: The G2 is pneumatic and the air compressor disconnects and or engages the sway bar. I have two compressors on board and specifically use the mini G2 compressor for the sway bar. The stock Rubicon sway bar is electronic so I’m not sure you could use it for the G2. The G2 sway bar comes with switches but you also have to purchase compressor if you don’t have one.

Q: Does this work with a 3 1/2 in lift ? Answer this question
A: Yes it will, however I would recommend getting adjustable sway bar links to go with is so you can make sure the sway bar is at the correct angle. I have a 4" lift and installed this using the links that came with my lift and ran into issues when driving on the highway. G2 recommend getting adjustable links. I have only had the new link on for a couple days now, so far it does feel like they have made a difference.
