The muffler that started it all, the original 40 Series Muffler is an aggressive sounding street/strip muffler that delivers the powerful Flowmaster Sound You have heard so much about. If you really want to hear your exhaust system and that great muscle car tone from both inside and outside of the vehicle - the 40 Series is for you
I have a 97 jeep wrangler and I want a exhaust that sounds loud and powerful. I cant decide between a flowmaster and a magnaflow I was thinking on getting this product or the magnaflow glass pack ??

Thanks for the question. For the best sound I would not install just a muffler as the stock piping on your 1997 Jeep Wrangler will alter the sound of any muffler making it sound more high pitched. I would recommend the full Flowmaster exhaust system for your truck that you can find here http://jo.my/sd27f1

Thanks for asking. A lot of things determine how aggressive sounding a muffler can be. If you have headers, a catalytic converter and how long the tail pipes are can all determine how the FlowMaster 40 series muffler will sound.
For over 30 years, Flowmaster has been producing exhaust products to combat noise issues that first cropped up on race tracks in California. The question was how to reduce sound without compromising performance? Advanced engineering and ample testing set Flowmaster's product line apart from competitors and a few of their more noteworthy parts include chambered mufflers, laminar flow designs and high flow catalytic converters. We carry Jeep exhaust pipes, exhaust flanges and complete exhaust systems among other Flowmaster products. The company's patented technologies, innovative designs and focus on performance keep Flowmaster at the forefront of aftermarket exhaust manufacturers. Shop Flowmaster Exhaust Now
