Just installed mine today. Rack looks good and feels sturdy but there are a few things I’m disappointed with. First it came with no instructions, that was fine still not hard to put together but had to pull it back apart since I put the wrong washers in and had to switch them. Also the powder coating isn’t the best. Found a lot of chips all over in it that I’ll have to fix so it won’t rust fast. can’t wait to try it out and see how it holds up.
I really like this rack. It installed in about an hour. Really looks good .
Great mount! Easy to install. It took us about an hour to install with 2 persons
They package it up nice but it doesn't do any good if they put chips in the powder coat before they package it. So many chips, bad bad quality.
This rack was easy to install with one person. It came packaged nicely with no dings or dents. Works extremely well with our Smittybuilt Overland XL Roof top tent.
Rock solid construction and easy assembly for one person. Arrives packed in foam that’s injected into the box, ensuring everything is well protected. Enough mounting points on the top and driver/passenger sides but none on the tailgate side. All the rack bolts are secured with nylon lock nuts which require special handling when tying down. Even so, many nuts would not secure fully and I’m forced to cut them all off and replace them. I’m also curious why Fishbone chose to use the locking nuts on the adjustable top rails, making them non adjustable once secured. I recommend replacing all the nuts before assembly, or just the top rail if you manage to get the nylon nuts to fully seat. I’ve sent messages to Fishbone in regards to this issue but they have not responded.
