A: Hi ko The FABFTS21088 is just for the 2 Wheel Drive GM Trucks. It is a spindle lift and will not work with your 4 Wheel Drive. You would need a Pro Comp 6 inch lift part number EXPK1144BP or Rancho 4 inch lift part number RANRS6583B with 2 each RANRS7297 rear shocks. A: Hello Yes this is the spindle for your truck. You will need to check the backspacing on the rims you are going to run. The maximum backspace is 4.625 so the stock rims might not work. As for the rubbing part if you stay with the body lift and the spindle you should have plenty of clearance.

A: Christopher- Thank you for your question. BS refers to 3-3/4 back spacing. The issue comes from the rim contacting the knuckle. You need to have a rim that pushes farther out of the wheel well. Then you have the issue of the larger tire not going into the well but contacting the outer lip of the well. This is where the minor trimming comes in.

A: Hi Pablito You can usually go an actual 1" taller than factory with out any lift. yu will need to go by the actual tire manufacture tire diameter and not by the sidewall size as tread design has a hugh affect on actual tire diameter. thank you

To fit your Chevy silverado 1500 The difference could be the back spacing. If your wheel is pushed out farther, this means smaller back spacing number you should be fine. If the wheels are tucked deeper into the wheel well then it will contact the outer knuckle.
