Lift is accomplished via one-piece ductile iron drop down steering knuckles attaching to heavy duty 1/4" thick, high arched lower control arm crossmembers. Fabtechs combination of steering knuckles and high arched crossmembers provides superior ground clearance for the true off-roader. The front differential is relocated with a cradle style bracket using bushings at just the proper angle to allow the use of the factory front driveshaft, without vibration on AutoTrac models. Solid steel billet sway bar end links with urethane bushings retain the factory front sway bar angle. The stock upper control arms and steering centerlink are retained in the factory position and do not have to be removed for installation. The front suspension is completed with crossmember impact struts and torsion bar drop down brackets. Rear lift is accomplished with a 5" block kit and add-a-leaf. Use 315/75R16 tire w/ 16x10 wheels w/ 4 5/8 inch BS w/ minor trimming. Use 315/70R17 tire w/ 17x9 wheels w/ 4 5/8 inch BS w/ minor trimming. Let me start out with I’m 55 and have had several 4x4s with many different lift kits in the past 3 decades. This kit is the best riding and HANDLING KIT I have ever used in my life. In fact my truck rides better on the road than any factory new truck that I’ve ever test drove period and yes with a 6 inch lift and sporting 35 inch tires 20 inch rims . And no I’m not affiliated with fabtech in any way. And no I’m not getting paid from them. I’m just So impressed with how it rides. And get this I don’t even take my truck off reading
This review is based on road driving. Yes driving on the road.
You would think my truck sways like a 90 story building in a wind storm.
Not a bit. It holds corners better than stock with a 6 inch stealth lift kit. If you’re seriously looking for a quality lift kit look no further you just found it.
