Manufactured using premium disc blanks mentioned above, the unique wide aperture slots in the EBC sport rotor actually draw cool air under the pad during heavy braking and reduce brake temperatures whilst also helping remove dirt, dust and debris and gasses created by heavy braking from the pad contact area. They also improve braking in off road conditions of wet, mud or sand and as such are a great choice for 4x4 vehicles. Blind drilled holes eliminate the chance of rotor cracking which is common with ?through drilled? or completely drilled vent holes.
WAS A LITTLE CONCERNED WITH THE PAY OFF CONSIDERING THE PRICE.BUT IT WILL STOP STILL ON A 45 DEGREE HILL WITH 37'S ON MY LITTLE JEEP, AND THEY DO GREAT GOING DOWN THE HIGHWAY, OR IN TRAFFIC. MUCH BETTER THAN STOCK!!!
These rotors are designed to work with the stock drum-style park brake?

Yes, the rotors are designed to work with all factory brake systems. Thank you.
Hello there, I have a question about this kit. I was wondering if this is good for an everyday driver? Or is a stage 4 kit more appropriate for that? I own a 2009 Infiniti FX35 and it has a little over 300HP. I am a bit of a spirited driver but not on a daily drive. I have looked at the different kits from Stage 3 - 5. I'm looking for the Best kit for my vehicle. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!

One set of rotors developed a lip on them and the pads need to be replaced. But my other set of rotors are fine. Will htere be an issue if I replace one set with drilled and slotted rotors and just replace the other set's brake pads. also I didn't understand the difference between the green and yellow stuff pads.

Thank you for your question. The EBC Brakes Stage 5 Superstreet Rear Brake Kit is an excellent choice especially for over sized tires. If the rotors are not lipped or warped you can just change pads. Remember you can not turn slotted rotors. As long as the rotors are paired and matched front or rear you are fine. The easy way to think of the EBC color system is Green, Yellow, red from least stopping power to most.
