High brake temperatures can affect your braking performance. EBC Sport Rotors incorporate wide slots in the brakes design that vents out hot gases and act like a fan to pull in cooler air and keep the braking surface clear of dust and debris for maximum pad life and aid in the prevention of dreaded brake fade. EBC Sport Rotors slots are resistant to cracking unlike many cross-drilled rotors that are prone to cracking under intense braking.
I bought ebc rear rotors for my 2000 f150 along with yellowstuff breakpads and wasn't disappointed. I had read mixed reviews regarding noise but found that for me there was little, if at all, any noise after the first day.

Ebc rotors F150 fx4
Was doing 120+ exiting I-10 @ undisclosed area, 2011 5.0 f150 24's on 37" m16's and defenitely wouldn't have stopped before end of exit ramp on stock rotors and pads! I don't suggest breaking the law, but they held up and no vibration or noises yet! Great product just need to offer rear setup also.

Not happy with rotors at all!!!!!
I purchased a full set of rotors and pads for both of my vehicles (2009 Dodge Journey and a 2010 Dodge Journey). I installed the rotors and pads exactly the same on both, paying attention to the run out and making sure that the mounting surfaces were clean, smooth and within specs. The calipers were also verified to ensure that they werent binding and floating freely. On the 2009 Journey everything went fine. However on the 2010 Journey I have had no end of problems. There is a terrible shacking coming from the brakes when they are applied. I have removed the brakes and recleaned the mounting surfaces and rechecked the runout. The shaking still exists and now I am going to take the car into my dealer to correct the issue at my cost. They have informed me that after test driving it that they believe strongly that the rotors are warped and will need to be at least machined. On the EBC web site they claim that new rotors do not need to be machined, well it certainly looks like some of them do and at the customers cost. For the hassle these brakes have cost me I would not recommend them at all.
