Hi I have a 1964 c10 short bed fleet side with the 12 bolt truck rear end original to the truck I am running a stock later model 350 carbureted less that 325 horsepower and a 700 R4 Trans NOT A 4x4 I was wondering if you offer an overhaul service for this truck. The Pinion Seal Leaks the Axle Bearings/seals aren't leaking or is not leaking anywhere else So I would want an overhaul and upgrade to the Eaton 373 limited slip and new axles/c clips do you do this? I would want to drop off the truck not DROP OFF OR BENCH WORK I live In Riverside California Truck runs and Drives no weird noises or anything has new rear complete drums/wheel cylinders etc. so brakes are fine. Also do you do Driveshaft replacement work while I am at the truck has a one piece Driveshaft but I was told it is from a Chevy Chevelle or Camaro Big Tube and I should replace it with the correct 1/2 ton Truck style Whatever that means I would rather do one stop shopping Thankns Jeff in Riverside CA

Hello Jeff Yes they could handle all of that for you. It is easier to do the job with the rear end in the truck. The parts are all common parts so it should be a very quick job for them to do . They can also handle the drive shaft if anything needs to be done. The drive shaft as long as it has the correct u-joint size and wall thickness it should be fine. When you go the store ask for David he is a good guy should be able to help you.

I have a 1987 chevy k10 with an upgraded 12 bolt rear end and has 4:10 gearing. Would this limited slip work and If not what would work for my truck?

Asked by Terry from Anacortes, WA on

Hello Terry, Thank you for the question. Provided the 12 bolt axle is out of a truck/SUV application this will fit. If you are using a car 12 bolt axle this will not fit.
