The Eaton E-Locker is a electronic push button selectable locker . It goes from open to spool with just the push of a button, no air lines to leak or cables to get hung up on. 12 Volt power is all that's required.
Hello, I have a 1991 Chevrolet Suburban V2500, I believe the front axle is the GM 10 bolt 8.5" 30 spline. Will this E-Locker work in the front? and will it require the special LM102949 / LM102911 bearings, Also will it handle 37" tires?

Yes that is the correct unit for the GM 10 bolt with 30 spline axles. It does work front or rear on the 10 bolt. It will need the bearings also since the made the bearing journal larger. I have a large number of customers running 37 and 38's with no problem with the locker.

Will this one fit in my 2006 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 rear axle? The G80 axles break a lot and I'm looking for improvement.
Roland from on
Yes this is a great upgrade over the stock G80 differential. It is a direct bolt in replacement in your Z71.

From what year to what year in a Chevy or GMC truck will this Eaton 19659-1 GM 8.5 / GM 8.6 10 bolt 30 spline E-Locker fit ?
JR from Weslaco, Texas on
It will work on the 1988 1500's all the way up to the 2013 models.
The only difference will be the install kit. There are different carrier bearings for the 98 and older and 99 and newer.
