Q: Hi I have rear dana 60 35 spline for wrangler , But idont know what is mean the 4.56 up , i can send pictures for it to reccomended the fit part Thank you asaad Answer this question

A: Hi Asaad The term 4.56 and up refers to the gear ratio inside the axle. Dana axles have a case split that is gear ratio specific,The 4.56 up is for use with 4.56,4.88,513 5.38 gears and the 4.10 down case is for use with 4.10,3.73,and 3.54 gears. You will need to verify the gear ratio in the axle before you can order a locker for the axle. count the number of teeth on the ring gear and the teeth on the pinion gear and divide the ring gear teeth by the pinion teeth and that will give you the gear ratio. Thank You
