The Dick Cepek Extreme Country has a proven compound with an extra tread depth that provides excellent traction and long life. The two-ply next generation High Tensile (HT) Body Ply Cord enhances sidewall strength without adding weight, rolling resistance, heat buildup or ride harshness. With a wide outer void and angled shoulder scallops the Extreme Country will provide the ultimate in off-road traction and self-cleaning ability. Tighter inner void surface area tread elements provide greater contact area for better handling and a quieter ride with improved cut and chip protection. The EXTREME COUNTRY is mud and snow (M+S) rated.

Good for mud, sand and rock
Tires are pretty good, I haven't had the opportunity to test in the snow and ice yet, but mud, sand, rock and street they are great. A little bit of road noise (305/70/16) but not obnoxious. Prior to these I had Goodyear MTRs for years but they stopped them making this size, so far these are comparable. 4WP was on top of this order too. I live "in the sticks" and the main shipper had to outsource the last leg and he was a bit behind on reporting and getting these to me. When I called the main shipper about this they told me 4WP had just called them the day before on it too. So kudos to 4WP for stay on this vs just slapping a label on it and forgetting about it.

Excellent larger tire for stock 3rd Gen Tacoma
Loving this tire so far on my 2017 Tacoma Off-Road. I did a ton of research, and the consensus is this is the largest tire that can go on stock wheels/suspension with no rubbing or issues. No issues for me! Louder than stock tires (it has that nice mud tire hum). Definitely a stiffer ride than stock, but you gain an inch or so of lift. Feels really solid, you can feel the tires gripping when moving slowly.

A: yes, you can run up to a 12.50 tire on a 7 inch rim. depends on usage and if you want to protect the rim edge by having more tire sticking out past rim edge. I ran 37x12.50x15 Goodyear Wranglers on a Ranger with zero issues, of course I had a lift and also fiberglass fenders and bed panels so they would fit.

Q: How many miles will the tread last? Answer this question
A: Extreme Country tires don’t have any mileage warranty. If regular maintenance of tire rotations and front end alignment, tires should last between 30,000 to 35,000 miles. Sometimes more if the vehicle is a Jeep or 1/2 ton pickup.

A: Many factors can affect expected tread wear mileage like, off-road use, rock climbing, proper tire rotation & inflation, etc. We’ve heard from customers the Extreme Country tire can get between 30K to 40K.

A: Max tire pressure that the tire will handle will be molded into the sidewall. But you should check your drivers door sticker for proper tire pressure for the vehicle stock tire size.

A: Hi, You should be able to mount the Dick Cepek LT245/75R16 Tire, Extreme Country either white wall out or black wall out without any performance degradation, so yes that would make them bi-directional
