works great for the trails around southern california. I've really needed this kind of lift to get through some of the lager rocks. had to get some longer rear shocks, but still the same price as OEM replacements.
front upper balljoints will pluck the coil springs if I launch my front end. I just need to find out how to extend my upper balljoint location to fix this.

"Just the right height"
This lift is just the right height. Not to high to be able to get into vehicle easily. Leveled my 2014 double cab Tacoma Prerunner and it looks awesome. Coupled it with new rear shocks. Very comfortable ride and did not change the stock ride at all and in fact it seems to ride and handle better.

love my lift!
I used this lift on my 2007 Jeep Liberty and it never looked better. Now im riding on 245/75/17 with Wrangler Moab's. And it really did not compromise ride quality at all. Super smooth!

Dose what it said. 2.5b up.
Nothing huge, just a nice small lift.
Looks good with stock tire too.

Much needed extra clearance
I do a lot of rural driving on and off road appraising property and this lift allows me to run a larger tire and increase clearance without killing my mpg

Daystar 3" lift Rocks the JK World!
I have been an avid offroad enthusiast for over 15 years and have found the Daystar 3" JK Lift Kit as a good way to clear 35" tires and go offroading. It has done well in Moab, in the rocks, and snow. It can be installed on a Saturday in the Driveway and makes the JK nice to drive in!

This kit Provides the right Look
Same as changing out struts. Jeep doesn't make it terribly easy for the front. Poly makes it quiet unlike metal kits. This kit doesn't require cutting bolts like some of the other spacer lifts. This kit and some aggressive tires provides the look Jeep should have offered for the Commander.
The biggest tires you can fit with factory wheels and without spacers is 255 70 17.
The only negative is that the nose still squats a little when compared to other kits of this kind. This is for my wife's vehicle and the quietness of the poly was the deciding factor for me.

I bought this for my 2012 Ram 2500 Cummins so I could fit some 35's better. I installed the spacers and shocks in my driveway in about 3 hours. The supplied instructions were easy to follow and the pictures really help if you dont know what your looking at. Everything went in smooth and I didnt have to make any last minute adjustments that you sometimes have to do with some aftermarket parts. Before you start it wouldnt be a bad idea to spray all the bolts with some WD-40 or whatever you use, and if you dont have an impact gun I recommend you get one or borrow one from a friend. Not saying it cant be done without one but it wont make your day any easier.

2-1/2 lift kit
did the job by myself and the front struts were tough to reinstall. plan on most of the day to do the job. instructions were pretty good but could use more detail and more pics.

Very pleased... allows 33's
I wanted bigger tires on my 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara 4wd and knew a lift was required to get the look I wanted. I didn't need anything more than 2" so when I saw this 1.75" suspension lift that incorporated many of the stock suspension parts I jumped on it (and I got a great price too). The lift installed simply enough; from what I gather it's a combination of two different Daystar (front & rear) lift kits. There were two sets of instructions that didn't reference the part number of this kit, they referenced two other part numbers. It's a little confusing at first because each kits instruction reference the other half of the vehicle when the instructions didn't apply. Anyway, this is pretty much a one person job although I needed help getting one of the front coils back in so I had my 13 year old push down on the axle while I inserted the coil spring. When it came to the rear installation, the instructions didn't mention about uninstalling the parking brake cable bracket which I needed to do to get the necessary clearance (or this could simply be a fault of my JK as one side was longer than the other). I also needed to remove a hold clip for a flexible rubber tube (no idea what it did, & no it was not the brake line) that went to the right rear. When I finished installing the new bump stops I re-clipped. Two floor jacks are helpful (one for each side of the axle). Another helpful tip was going to the Daystar web site and look at the instructions there which are in color (the instructions in the kit are black & white). Again, you have to look for the part numbers matching the instructions in the kit. I down sized the rim from 18" to 17" going with Ballistic Jester 17x9 which have a -12 offset & 4.5" back spacing. I went with Nitto Terra Grappler 295/70's which according to the Nitto web site are 33x12. Down sizing the rim gave me a touch more side wall and the look & stance is very nice.
Do you have to buy new suspension with this kit or can you put it on without new suspension?

This package will lift the vehicle 2.5" with keeping the factory suspension components. Thank you
