Replacing the clutches in your limited slip will restore the preload making your limited slip more aggressive like when it was new from the factory. Many units will have different clutch setups for an even more aggressive setup.
Yes if it is the factory trac-lok these are the correct clutches.

I'm trying to find a differential locker to go from a limited slip to a posi trac. will this do the trick?
Philip from houston tx on
Posi and limited slip is the same thing. Chrysler and Ford called it limited slip in the 60 and 70's. Chevrolet called there unit positraction or posi for short.
If you have the factory track lok in your Dana 44 it is a posi.

Are these fiber on steel or steel on steel clutches? I have the steel on steel spicer clutches and they are terrible.
Jamie from Canada on
According to Dana they are fiber over steel replacements.
