Q: On my previous question about this kit. You say it is the new style ford seal, which I understand. And your description states it fits any Dodge , GM or ford Dana 60, which is an improved version over the old V-lip D/S 700014 style seal. In my question about the new style ford seal, I believe that his new style kit eliminates the metal slinger, as in my pre-trail fit, the new seal fits tightly over the axle shaft flange without the slinger in place. If the slinger is in place first, this new style seal will not fit over the slinger. Just verifying as I can find no info anywhere on the internet about this....Thank you..! Answer this question
