Get genuine performance from genuine Spicer. Spicer parts are designed, engineered, and manufactured to meet or exceed OE requirements because they are OE parts, ensuring a perfect fit with our full line of industry-leading axles. That’s why Spicer is the name you can trust for top performance and durability. Through heat treating and a slower quality scan rate, Dana is able to deliver a much more consistent and stronger Spicer axle shaft. In addition, the cold-formed rolled spline eliminates the need for machining, which can cause stress fractures and premature failures. And not only are Spicer axle shafts fatigue-tested to last, 100% of our front axle parts are ultrasonically tested, so we’re able to check for any internal cracks that regular magnetic testing can’t reach. We’re proud to claim a safety factor that’s high even by OE standards—because when it comes to the performance of your axles, there’s no room for compromise.
The same heat treating, slower quality scan rate and cold-formed rolled spline also enable Spicer to deliver a much more consistent and stronger rear axle shaft, with less of the machining that can lead to stress fractures and premature failure. In addition, Spicer rear axle shafts undergo the same fatigue testing and ultrasonic testing, delivering a safety factor that’s high even by OE standards.

Q: 1976 Chevy k10 (44) passenger side axle Is this one a 30 count inner and does it have 2 places for the snap ring on the outer for that price Answer this question
A: Hi Mark, Yes this Dana Spicer Front Axle Shaft - Dana 44 is indeed a 30 spline axle. And the picture looks like the shorter side has two grooves in it for snap rings. More from Dana about this part here: https://www.danaaftermarket.com/part/id/1016661?pn=71394-1X&cp=0 But this is for an independent front suspension set up. Not a solid axle and Dana Spicer has specified that this axle is a drivers side IFS for Ford F-150s and Broncos from 1980-1996. If you contact our customer service center @ 877-474-4821 they can find you an axle for your K10

Q: I have a 1979 ford f50 ranger with a 460 4x4 swap with the dana 44 in the front, will this fit the driver side?? Answer this question
A: Hi 79ford, This Dana Spicer Front Axle Shaft - Dana 44 was originally listed as fitting a 80-92 F-150 and Bronco with IFS. If you have a Dana 44 that is not a solid axle and is independent front suspension (Twin traction beam) style, it will fit. If you have a solid front axle I would recommend to call our customer service center @ 877-474-4821 and speak with a rep. They will get you the parts you need

Dana Spicer products strive to meet the same high standards as OE parts, but in reality they are OE parts. The company's commitment to engineering and design innovation stretches back to 1904 when Dana was founded and began producing Spicer products. That legacy translates to quality, dependable axle components that keep Jeeps out on the trail and help daily drivers brave commutes with confidence. Driveshaft parts, universal joints, Dana axles and Spicer axle components are some of the Dana Spicer products that Jeep owners know they can count on.
