Hello Yes this is the correct limited slip for your truck. You should get the install kit also if doing the ring and pinion. The install kit part number is G/2 35-2028 Thanks

Im thinking about upgrading my 9.25 in my 2004 Dakota and wondering what else is needed to install this unit? Thanks in advance

Asked by Ryan from on

Hello The only other thing needed would be carrier bearings for the limited slip. It is easier to install new bearings rather than pulling your old bearings. The 9.25 has spanners so there are no shims needed. Thanks

will this fit my 2001 1500 dodge truck stock axles

Asked by cutlass72 from rogers city mi on

Hi The D/S80754 will fit your Dodge and will work with ABS Brakes. The ABS exciter ring will fit on this Trac-Loc differential. This 31 splines and will fit your stock axles. I recommend new carrier bearings 2 each TIM JLM704649 and 2 each TIM JLM704610 Let me know if you have anymore questions. Thank You Jon Snyder 4Wheelparts
