These seals are one of the most overlooked components in the axle rebuilding process. These seals seal the housing to the axle shaft and prevent gear oil from running out your axle tubes.
Fit the Dana 30 front axle on 99 wrangler TJ perfectly.
Perfect fit for my 88 YJ. 99 problems, but a leaky axel ain't one of em.
Seals are top notch. Will not use 4wp as vendor again. Buying experience was terrible

Q: I was told this seal would work with my '90 xj disconnect Dana 30 with a solid axle conversion, however I didn't clarify that it is for the passenger side. This seal is just over 2.1 inches in outside diameter, which is too big. 68mm is what this seal measures. I need a 63mm outside diameter. I've tried finding the dimensions of certain Dana 30 Inner axle seals online but am having a hard time doing so. Can you steer me in the right direction? Answer this question
A: Hello On the passenger side you need to install two seals. The first will be in next to the carrier bearing just like the driver side. That part number is National 470160 the seal where the disconnect was is Dana 54381.

Q: Will this seal work in a 1990 xj Dana 30 disconnect axle with a solid axle conversion, now running '98 grand Cherokee axles? Answer this question
A: Hello No this is the seal for the disconnect side with the 2 piece axle. The kit's come with 2 seals for the passenger side axle tube. The stock 98 axle doesn't have a seal surface out at the disconnect area. So you need to install a seal at the carrier just like the driver side has. Here are the two seals you will need. D/S 54381 at the disconnect National 470160 inner seal Thanks
