A: Hello Yes that is the correct seal for the non disconnect front end.

A: Hello On the passenger side you need to install two seals. The first will be in next to the carrier bearing just like the driver side. That part number is National 470160 the seal where the disconnect was is Dana 54381.

A: Hello No this is the seal for the disconnect side with the 2 piece axle. The kit's come with 2 seals for the passenger side axle tube. The stock 98 axle doesn't have a seal surface out at the disconnect area. So you need to install a seal at the carrier just like the driver side has. Here are the two seals you will need. A: Hello No this is for the disconnect half way down the axle tube. The seal you need is the Dana D/S 54381 which is for the Rubicon or the Dana 30 with the super 30 kit. Thanks

A: Hi Hot rod These seals will not have a problem with the RCV axle shafts as these seals are Inner Axle Seals and they are installed next to the differential carrier at the opposite end of the shafts.The RCV boot will act as an outer tube seal depending on the year of your axle. Thank You

A: Hi King rancher The 1999 and newer seals are better than the earlier model seals if you are leaking oil your housing may be bent. the earlier seal has a tendency to cut into the axle shaft and we use the late model unit as an axle saver. Thank You
