The Currie Extreme 60 high pinion front crate axle is simply the strongest 60 series axle that we offer, designed for extreme off-road use with up to 40-inch tires and V8 conversion horsepower. The Currie Extreme 60 is built to the legendary Currie Standard and loaded with exclusive features including: a stronger reinforced stage-2 radius bottom center section, ring gear load bolt, large 3.5-inch axle tubes and bigger brakes plus much more. Additional features:
-13.25 inch vented rotors (over 1.25 inches larger diameter than stock for increased braking) with zinc plated caliper brackets
-Dual piston calipers with increased pad contact area for improved braking
-Currie Currectlync 1 5/8 inch diameter, .250 wall heat treated Chromoly tube with 1 1/4 inch forged tie rod ends
-Heavy gauge 3/16 inch steel mounting brackets with multiple mounting locations that enable the suspension geometry to be tuned
-Currie Johnny Joints installed with 1/2 inch greaseable bolts
-Optimized for 4 inch lift kits with 5 degrees of pinion angle to reduce driveshaft angle and 5 degrees of caster for improved steering
-Ram mounting brackets welded to housing, setup for PSC 8 inch travel steering ram
-70 inch wide (between wheel mounting surfaces), enables full turning angle with 40 inch tires
-6 lug (6 on 5 1/2 inch) with 1/2 inch studs installed or 8 lug (8 on 6 1/2 inch) with 9/16 inch studs installed
