Crown Automotive Transfer Case Input Shaft Gear

Q: I am upgrading the transmission on my 87 YJ from the Peugeot BA10 to a 93 AX15. Need a 23 spline input gear for the old transfer case to be compatible with the AX15. The present input gear is 4 1/8" long. The top of the inside gear teeth are slanted as opposed to pointed as some input gears are configured. I need an input shaft with the 23 spline and the slanted internal teeth. Can you tell me which input gear I should purchase? Thank you very much for any help you can offer. Dave Answer this question

Q: I would really like to buy this gear. However, I need to know 3 things. 1) does it have 23 splines, 2) how long is it, 3) the gear cut changed between 95 and 97 and my application is a 97, but it says it's also compatible with 95. How can that be if the gear cut is not the same? Answer this question
