Crown Automotive Hood Release Cable

I used this product to replace a broken hood release cable on a 1996 Jeep Cherokee Country. The installation was a breeze at just under 10 minutes. Everything went together easily and all the fastners lined up; very good product

Is an great replacement for your broken handle and or cable, I installed a few months after the original cable ripped out more than a year ago. I used pliers for a few months until I found this hood release and has been working great better than my pliers. The only downside I see is the handle doesn’t have a firm feel. Give the impression that will bend and deform, but so far nothing has happened and still working great

The part fit great and was well constructed. The only downside, and it is a small one, is that the part on the actually latch handle that you pull on has a symbol of the hood and the word 'Hood' painted on. It was very faint and off-centered. So aesthetically, it wasn't great, but the part fit perfectly and did the job just fine. Recommended!
