For extreme off-road use, there's nothing else like Bushwacker Cut-Out Fender Flares. Each set of Cut-Out Fender Flares is individually designed for your Jeep, Truck or SUV, to maximize off-road wheel travel and maintain adequate tire coverage. That custom approach means a smoother appearance, greater strength, and easier bolt-on installation with tough stainless steel hardware. As the name says, Cut-Out Fender Flares require cutting body sheet metal to achieve maximum articulation and coverage for oversized tires. Cut-Out Fender Flares are made from thick, warp-proof Dura-Flex 2000 TPO, our own proprietary material, engineered for added durability and flexibility in severe conditions. Its UV protection guards against chalking, while its pro-grade matte black finish looks great as-is, or custom painted to create your own personal look. Cut-Out Fender Flares offer extreme performance with style to match.
Great product! Have them on my 1998 XJ, with 33x12.5's. Took a REALLY tight trail this summer, slid a little, had the entire weight almost resting on the driver rear wheel. As I went back and forth trying to get up the hill, the fender flare was against a tree and held up just fine!! Protecting me from bashed quarter panel and maybe even a broken window! Tough as nails...

WJ Install Fender Flares
Plan on 6-8 hours for install maybe more depending on your experience. First one took the longest. Rubber edging was easily the most frustrating part as no sooner did I get a section on then the beginning peeled right off.

They fit like a glove, but I was a little disappointed in the mounting hardware. over all a good product.

Requires a little body work. With the proper tools, everything done in about 2-3 hours. Open the wheel well and no more tire rub on the body at extreme articulation. Painted flat black and looks great!

Excellent fit and quality
The quality and fit of these flares are excellent. The only criticism I would have is that the installation instructions images show more detail. When I have to cut parts of my vehicle's body off, I want to make SURE I am doing it correctly. Overall, I think it is a great product and it allowed me to run larger tires without them rubbing.

I own a 03 Tacoma dbl cab, but Bushwacker don't make it for my bed style. So i emailed them & they said something about there being to much sheet metal in the bed. Ignoring that fact because i don't need the clearance, but instead i needed the 3in. of tire coverage for the recon law on Oahu.
I ordered it for a extended cab & got it a little over a month later. I got it on without having to cut the lips of the fenders & the fitment was great. It was the bed i was mainly worried about especially the drivers side because of the gas cap. It fits, I'm happy with it, my tires are covered & makes my truck look more beefy.

Easy installation with good directions.

Great product. Fits like a glove. The only things i would do would be take and put some glue between the fender and the truck to help with water and so it doesn't rub too much. The main part about this is to NOT paint with only spray can for the paint, Spend the money to get it painted or to do it your self, but don't waist the time with spray cans. Doesn't turn out right. Overall I love them and will keep buying from 4 wheels parts.

Fender Flares adds plenty of Flare!
If you are looking to keep your dated jeep, this is one of the many after market products that will make it look not only newer, but customized. It'll add style to your vehicle without the high cost of customizing. Be sure it's something you want to add and have a 'end look' in mind when you start with this product.

I have a 1988 v20 suburban, there are already fender flares, but they are broke. And i need to change them. There are 4 for sale online, but I don't know which one will fit exactly.

The B/W40019-11 is a pair of front flares that are a cut out style. These are for having very large oversized tires and require a lot of cutting and modification to install.
If your vehicle is stock or has slightly larger tires then I suggest B/W40900-01.
This is the part number for the set of 4 flares which is front and rear pairs. These flairs have a nice clean look. They come out about 2 inches and then angle back up to the body. These are fairly easy to install and attach to uncut stock fenders.

Do you have to cut into the sheet metal to install these flares on a 2000 Cherokee Sport? If so, is there any other type of flare that does not require cutting the sheet metal?
Rick from on
Yes, the Bushwacker Cut-Out Style XJ Cherokee Fender Flare Set Part Number: B/W10911-07 does require cutting sheet metal. Please see "Instructions" tab on product page. Thank you for the question.
