I have a pop-up camper on my f250, so the tail gate/ back up camera was removed for the camper installation. I purchased a cheap backup camera to replace the tailgate factory camera, that was supposed to plug and play with my F-250 but it did not work. So I purchased this one. I plugged this one into the factory tailgate plug and it worked great. Very easy to install. I would have given it five stars, but the picture quality was not as good as I hoped, however, this may be in part be due to my factory monitor. I also priced a new camera at Car Toys, they said they would have to replace the factory monitor so their camera would work, well over $600. So, this is an inexpensive, easy to install option, that works.
