Uses 3 existing body mount bolts on passenger and drivers side. Since I didn't have a buddy to hold the guards up, I used a floor jack to lift it into place so I could get the bolts started. No drilling, a key point for my 05 LJ Rubicon Sahara limitied edition. The textured powder coat finish looks great.
The squeaking was easily fixed by adding some washers in between the lower body mount and the guards to create a small gap in between the body and the guard. The contact with the body is what caused the squeaking. I used 1 1/4" OD x 1/2" ID x 1/16" thk galvanized washers to shim the guard away from the body. I also went through the trouble of using these washers to make the guards parallel with the bottom edge of the body. (note: this is how they reccomend eliminating any squeaking from the guards IF it happens)
