    Manufactured from 3/16 inch steel plate, this skid plate for the Jeep JK is designed to protect the front area of the Jeep including the vulnerable and expensive electronic sway bar disconnect offered on the Rubicon model. Easy bolt on installation and can be installed with the Body Armor bumper or stock bumper. Black Powder coat finish.

    I bought this to replace the plastic valance under the front bumper to actually protect the electronic sway bar disconnect on my Rubi and it does that perfectly. It has held up to hits & scrapes going forward and reversing off obstacles without much more than a few scratches. My only issue with it was I needed a second pair of hands to help install it, so I ended up using a hydraulic jack to hold it in place while I bolted it on. Beyond that I can't fault this item in any way so far.

    5.0 Great skid plate, fast and easy install.

    I have their bumper on my '08 Wranger Rubicon. This fixed the freeway speed wind buffeting and hood rise due to wind. Doubles as a front air dam.

    4.0 Fits Great and Looks Good

    The JK comes with a flimsy plastic front "skid plate" that will not protect from any damage, except bugs. The Off Road 4x4 skid plate installed easy with only one bolt hole to drill, the passenger side had an elongated slot in place that allows adjustment, it looks good and protects well and came with all needed hardware.

    A: Yes the Body Armor 4x4 Front Skid Plate should work with a Smittybilt bumper. Hope this helps!

    Q: Will this skid plate work with a Poison Spyder JK Brawler MID Front Bumper with Brawler Bar? a bit more of a queston about the bumper. does it roll around the bottom of the frame cross member?
