BILSTEIN 5100 series are designed specifically to help your lifted truck, Jeep or SUV reach its pinnacle in ride performance, while supplying the correct tuning and length for your specific lift.
Needed a better shock for the rear due to towing a trailer and the stock shock on the Ram was not cutting it. The Bilstein works like a charm. It stabalizes quick with littkle bounce when towing. A little satiff unloaded but still ruides well
I replaced rough country shocks on my Ram 2500. They were on for about 14 months. Bilstein was suggested as the ride in my truck was very rough. I have had the Bilstein's on for a week and wow. What a difference. I also have a steering stabilizer that is rough country and I am going to replace that as soon as the Bilstein arrives. That will be today or tomorrow. I am a new believer in your products. Thank you for a great set of shocks.
Smoothed out my ride after a lift. Rides great now.
What an upgrade over stock! My 2020 Ranger would bounce around like a rubber ball after going over bumps on the highway but just changing the rear shocks out made a huge improvement. The truck rebounds from the bumps and smooths out immediately. This is a must do upgrade and can be done in under and hour in your own garage with a few basic tools.
Love these Bilstein 5100 shocks. My last set lasted me 10yrs.
If you have a New trail boss, immediately buy these and front struts also, it will be a totally different truck and ride like it should’ve in the first place for a 60k$ + truck. It’s embarrassing GM still uses them junk Ranchos. The wheel hop and hard bounce is gone!
Great shock! I really like the way my 2005 Chevy Silverado rides since installing these Bilsteins on it.
Very well made. I really like the smooth ride. Jeep handles very well on washboard roads.

Q: Is these a combo for rear or do i have to buy 2 of them? Answer this question
A: Don’t buy these. Super stiff ride

A: It's for both rear shocks. They're good! I've put them through hell in the sand dunes a dozen times now along with one Michigan winter roads season. I don't like the boot/bellows that cover the shafts because they hold on to moisture and debris which can't be good for the seal. I solved this by removing the boots and installing Daystar 2.0 shock guards (Fasten around the bottom with a nylon zip-tie once your tapped the holder piece on with a plastic deadblow hammer. I think the Daystar guards were less than $30 with shipping. All good now!
