Installed on a 2013 Sierra 1500 4wd with the stock heavy duty tow/suspension package. Truck has 52k miles. The difference between the stock shocks & the Bilstein 5100's are like day & night. The Bilsteins ride better without 4 70# sandbags in the back than it did with them on the stock shocks. I don't go out of my way to miss the manhole covers or minor holes in the street now. It still feels firm & solid in the corners & no extra bounce on the highway. I used the highest ring, which was about right. I had to re aim the headlights. I tried replacing the springs myself, but they were too stiff/strong & broke the manual spring compressor I had borrowed. I then took them to a PEP Boys (only place open on a Sunday), and the stiff/strong springs broke their both their floor mounted & wall mounted machines. Had to go to another location with a brand new hi-tech machine to have the springs swapped over. Great guys and fast service. Yes I would highly recommend these as a replacement..

Very good shocks
I replaced the stock Ford Rancho junk on my ‘17 F350 FX4. The ride is much better, less harshness on bumps.

I have a couple hundred miles on Bilstein 5100's on my 2010 F150 FX4 with 85K miles on it. Pro installed the fronts at 1 notch below top, provided about 1.5" lift. I put the rears on myself - easy. Ride is a little stiffer than the worn out OEM's. If you are looking for a good FX4 shock, this is it!
