5100 for my FJ

before I installed these 4 shocks my FJ would nose dive on firm braking and squat on acceleration. now I have a firm yet very comfortable ride along with supperior control. I was also able to achieve a close to perfect level by raising the front using the third groove.

An improvement

The shocks were installed at the same time as Toytec coil overs and Super Flex rear springs. The street ride is still quite comfortable and the combination soaks up rough trails and rocks very well. Overall handling and cornering of my FJ has improved and the braking nose-dive is eliminated. I've heard only good things about the 5100's when installed separately.

Question & Answers

1 Answered question

I currently have a 2015 Toyota Four Runner SR5 with four wheel drive. I want to maintain the stock vehicle height. Will the 5100 effect the height? Is this shock as effective for vehicle control as the 4600 Bilstein shock?

Hello rick.guzman, This shock will fit the rear of your stock height vehicle. This shock will not work with the adjustable X-REAS suspension. Thank you.
