So far so good. Installed on a F-250 that was going through rancho shocks left and right. Seems to be a great product.
My only complaint is the the front shocks come fully extended which makes them hard to install if you don't have a lift to allow the axle to fully drop. Other front shocks I have installed come retracted with a restraint holding them that way which you cut after they are in position. I wound up having to have a friend help me retract them and make leashes to hold them in out of weed eater cord. Once that was done the install was easy. The rear shocks come retracted and are easy to install. Other than that they are top notch.
2001 Ford F350. Great improvement over the previous shocks
They work great, it seems alot less bumpy.
great shock easy to install...looks good too
Q: Is this part available for a 2008 Ford F350 4x4 crew cab? Also, how does this shock compare to the Rancho RS9000XL? It seems like the reviews favor the Bilstein. Thanks, Rod Answer this question
A: Hello rodthebod, Yes, the Bilstein 5100 Series Shock Absorber BIL24-186025 will fit your vehicle application. Both the Rancho RS9000XL and Bilstein 5100 series shocks ride nice, however, I prefer the Bilstein 5100. Thank you.
