Good Product - Great Company

Installed these on my old '98 Ram 2500 Cummins. What a night & day difference in the ride. Definitely a quality shock. I purchased from 4wheelparts.com using their package deal where you buy the set of 4 shocks. I ordered on the website and talked to customer service the next day to finalize exact part numbers. It was a very easy and painless process. The package deal on shocks can't be beat!

5100 Bilstein's 2012 Ram 3500 SRW

After having 3 shocks go bad in the first 40k and the dealer wanting $600 to replace them with the same factory shocks it was time for an upgrade. Bilstein's reputation and lifetime warranty made it an easy choice. I only have a couple of thousand miles on these but have been very pleased with the improved handling of the truck. Noticable difference in the ride. Not necessarily smother but much more stable over washboards and potholes. I would buy them again.

Good Shock......Good Reputation

Easy to order, arrived quickly. Good shock with a good reputation and most of all......good price. Installed on a 05 Dodge Cummins 3500 4x4. Did the rear in about an hour or so. The front a little more involved and they took a few hours total. Overal though very easy.

NICE!

Very nice ride and handling. Blew out a Pro Comp and replaced them with these. Should have installed these from day one. Handles the front end of a diesel truck much better.

100K Rides like new

07 Dodge 2500 turned over 100k. Old shocks were done, oil leaks,no dampening, the ride was terrible. The new Bilsteins ride is great, much better than brand new OEM shocks on the rode. Off-road the Bilsteins are many times better. They handle washboards,g-outs,whoops and flat out fast conditions better than a big ole truck ought too. The only con is that only one of the four shocks I received was banded the proper length to fit my truck. Two were way to long and one way to short. Installation was supposed to be as easy as the first one if that had been the case it would have been a breeze.

Raised the front of my 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins TD 2wd pickup 2 1/2 in. with the Pro Comp kit to level the front end. The Bilstein shock part #24-184847 in now too short. Will this shock work on my 2WD truck with a 2.5in lift??

Asked by Joe from Modesto, CA on

Hello Joe, Sorry, but Bilstein does not offer a 5100 series shock to fit your vehicle application. But we do offer the Fox Racing Shox 2.0 Performance Series IFP Shock Part Number: FOX985-24-019 that will fit. Thank you for the question.
