Bilstein 5100 Series Ride Height Adjustable Shock Absorbers are designed for front coilover style pickup suspensions. The monotube shocks feature a 46mm digressive piston with self-adjusting deflective disc valving. Multiple snap-ring grooves in the shock body allow for different spring seat positions, providing 0"-2.5" of front end lift, depending on application. Provides increased wheel travel and improved handling!
I installed these on my 2007 Jeep Commander. The Bilstein website does not list them as a fitment for my Jeep, but I found a lot of websites that listed them as a fitment for the same year Grand Cherokee (06-10), which is the same chassis as mine. These are an amazing replacement for the stock struts. The ride is great and the body control (especially over big bumps and dips) is beyond what I thought was possible.I definitely recommend them.
I have a Jeep grand Cherokee 2010 with a two and three-quarter inch left. I want to level out my vehicle and I was told this would be a great way to do it. True? I want to bring the front end up 1 1/2 -2". Also are the struts stiffer than the stock ones that came with my jeep? Hope so.

That is correct. This ride height adjustable shock will allow you to level the vehicle from 3/4" to 2" in the front. This strut will reuse the factory coil spring so the ride will stay fairly plush. However, when you run this strut in a lifted position the factory coil is compressed bumping up the spring rate (stiffer ride). I hope that helps. Thank you.
Will this fit a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 3.5" of lift in the front?

Yes, the Bilstein 5100 Series Shock Absorber BIL24-225793 will fit your vehicle application. However, you will need to run this shock at the stock height or you will have drastic CV axle and steering angles causing premature failure. Thank you.

I have a 2005 grand Cherokee. I have a 3.5" lift in front and a 2.5" in the rear on 33" tires. Would the 5100 series work?

Yes, the Bilstein 5100 Series Shock Absorber BIL24-225793 will fit your vehicle application. Thank you.
