Bilstein 5100 (Ride Height Adjustable) shock absorbers are designed for trucks and SUV's with a front OE coilover style suspension. Multiple snap-ring grooves in the body allow for different spring seat positions, providing 0-2.75 inches of front lift (depending on application). The monotube shock absorbers feature a 46mm digressive piston a with self-adjusting deflective disc valve setting. Bilstein 5100 (Ride Height Adjustable) shock absorbers provide increased wheel travel and improved handling. Utilizing a 5100 (Ride Height Adjustable) shock absorber is the easiest way to level out your vehicle.
2016 Chevy Silverado z71 4x4 these fit awesome rides so much better then having the RC leveling kit spacer that goes over the front coil and at the bottom. RC leveling kit had a stiff ride and bad angles. I switched over to these went with the highest setting and achieved the same height as the RC with a much more comfortable ride. I do recommend upgrading to the RC beefier upper control arms or any company. Barely clearing 20x10 wheels with 33x12.5x20 tires (a little trimming and bangin involved).

Tacoma shock upgrade - Bilstein 5100
I wanted a smoother ride for my stock 2019 Tacoma SR5 and bought these 5100’s to see if they would really make a difference in my daily ride quality. The front shocks I chose to increase the height 1 inch and make the front end sit level with the rear. The shocks make a Huge difference in ride quality!! I couldn’t be happier, the shocks absorb bumps exceptionally well and there is no more continued bounce after hitting bumps. Great Job Bilstein and thank you 4wheel parts for easy online ordering and quick delivery.

Best leveling option by far - 2013 Chevy 1500
Easy install in driveway - I added 0.5" spacer on top as well, which makes perfect level. Looks good , rides better. I will be looking to replace the rear shocks with Bilsteins shortly.
can I mix monotube in the fronts and twintubes in the rear of a Toyota tundra 2013? will it affect handling. I put on 5100 levelers and had the front end raised a half inchor maybe 1. I have stock tires. nothing fancy. just wanted to get rid of jacked up look. it rides hard and stiff. mostly in the rear.

Yes, you can mix and match the shocks. The Bilstein 5100 Series Ride Height Adjustable Shock Absorbers are a bit stiffer than stock. Since you have already had some modifications I recommend contacting our customer service center @ 877-474-4821 and speak to one of the reps. They have great knowledge of all the shocks we sell and can find the perfect ones for your truck.
