Utilizing a B8 5100 (Ride Height Adjustable) shock absorber is the easiest way to level out your vehicle
Rides like a new truck. I didn’t go full level using the second setting. It has just over an inch of rake. Quick install of the front struts at 4WP. Safer than me doing them. Rears were easy diy. 2019 F150 Screw Lariat FX4.
Great performance upgrade. I used the third clip position on mine and got 1 and 3/8" (1.375") of lift instead of the 1.05" of claimed lift. Truck is a 2020 F150 FX4 with 2.7L and 275/70/18 tires.
Awesome shocks!! I expected a rougher ride going up in height but there shocks are so responsive that everything but the really big bumps actually feel better than stock!
Great ride, takes the old man feel out of the truck and adds some good clearance.
Q: 2020 3.5L F-150 4X4 SuperCrew. If I currently have 2.5” leveling kit on front end, do I need to remove to install? What is the max height these shocks are capable lifting? Where can I view install manual? Answer this question
A: The leveling kits are generally spacers that go on top of the strut assembly. I would definitely take the spacer out when installing these. I believe these are good for about 2.25" max. The middle groove is good for about 3/4" and the bottom one is stock height. You cann look at the install directions on bilstein's website. Or youtube.
