PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Bilsteins shock bodies are precision formed through a unique seamless extrusion process. The finished body is then mated with a solid, induction hardened steel chrome plated and polished shaft, machined valving components and highest quality seals. Combined with extreme attention to detail, Bilstein provides you with the closest thing to a hand built shock available today. Limited lifetime warranty.

Good Shocks

Well packed and all parts included. On my 2012 JK the originals were rusty and a bugger to get off then came the fun part. When you put the 2 rubber bushings on the shaft with the washers there is no room for the nut, covers the shaft completely. I had to shave the top bushing about 1/4" to fit the nut on top. Once I did that all went well. The other challenge is holding the shaft while tightening the nut, there is an allen wrench hole on top to hold the shaft, tough to do. I removed 1 stars for the hassle of the bushings and not performance, other than that great.

Bilstein Series 4600 shocks

The Bilstein's have firmed up the ride so much that I no longer feel like I'm driving a milk truck but rather a chicane carving Arial Atom. All Jeep JKUs should handle this well!
