hi guys. you responded to my last question informing me that in order to use this tire/size on my stock 2014 JK Rubicon I should also switch to an aftermarket wheel with 3.85-4.50 backspacing.
Can you recommend a wheel? Preferably all black, maybe by Fuel?
DavidE from San Diego on
Fuel has many different styles of wheels. We recommend a 17 x 8.5 with a 5 on 5 lug pattern. As stated previous, we recommend a wheel will 3.75" to 4.5" of backspace. All wheels have backspace specs provided.

Can I use this size tire on my stock 2014,Jeep Rubicon JK and will the tire in this size mount correctly on my stock Rubicon wheels?
Davide from San Diego on
This tire size will fit your vehicle but your will have to upgrade the wheels. The factory wheels backspace is to much and the tire will rub. You will need an aftermarket wheel with 3.85" to 4.5" of backspace. Thank you for he question.

Got a 2012 Wrangler Sport and will be getting a 2.5 lift. Having trouble deciding on a new tire to go with my new 17" wheels. Don't want anything too meaty as it will be mostly be a street driver but need something good in snow. Dilemma between MT ATZ and BFG KO2. Then there is the size. What is the difference between getting BFG KO2 305/65R17 and a 285/70R17?
crush12 from on
I highly recommend the BFG tire over the MT tire. The BFG tire is less noisy and rides smoother on the street/highway. The 305/65R17 is a 32.6x12.01R17 and the 285/70R17 is a 32.7x11.22R17 size. Thank you for the question.
