Have 305/65/r18 and was looking at 285/65/r18.
What would the difference be?
Answer this question
I have tried the wider tire combination before and my tires always rubbed and would go out of balance more often. I currently have the 285s on my 2014 Ram 3500 single wheel diesel and they handle great. It is a work truck/ farm truck. With the tire size closer to the original factory epecs I get the full factory milage wear out of them. The truck is set up with a large knack tool box and solid full ranch front and rear bumpers main benefit is the truck does not go out of balance any more.
