BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 Tire when roadside assistance is not an option the super-tough sidewall compound and 3-ply construction resists cuts and bruises to take the edge off of rocks and other off-road hazards. Overcome nearly any obstacle with linear flex zones that allow the tire to conform and grab obstacles in aired-down driving. Leave the tow rig at home Drive to the trails with better road manners and less noise than you would expect in an unstoppable off-road tire! The T/A KM2 is an excellent tire for the driver who needs great off-road traction, but still wants a good wearing, long mileage street tire. The Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 has a footprint made to dominate almost anything in its path. Smart design gives it excellent mud-clearing ability and low road noise.
Tire works well against hydro plaining. Mud, snow and rock no problem. Ice you will need studs. Lightest tire in its class under 40 lbs and tallest in its class a true 33".

This tire is a spare for offroading to match the existing tire/rim combo that exists on my vehicle.
Everything I asked the vehicle and tires to do, they did. We were on 676 (ORV road and/or fire roads) just south and east of Mt. Rainer in Washington state. It is labeled as "most difficult" in many areas. Peformed as expected! With the triple side wall, this offered some level of confidence for the quality of the tire and preserving the equipment.
I didn't use these tires for crawling, just offroad trails, roots, rocks, mud, etc.

I drive about 18 miles to and from work everyday and hunt each weekend about 50 miles away. My city mileage has went down a little but my highway mileage has stayed the same. The tires have very little road noise with the radio on at an average sound decibel can not hear the tires. As for off-road they perform beyond expectations. I hunt in the mountains of Northern Alabama, if yoou can call them that at 2500 foot peaks. I use to have to travel up and down on a fourwheeler but no more and I drive a Dodge Ram 1500 Crewcab. I would recommend these tires for sure. I am measuring the tire depth at each 1000 miles for the first 15000 miles of the tire and will continue to post reviews on wear.

Good tires that are easily controlled even in the larger sizes.

KM2 - MUD terrains
Best mud tire I've ever bought. Stay super clean, self cleaning with the throttle. Can't say the same for the Jeep

Compared to the BFG KMs
I compared these to my stock 255/75R17 BFG KMs on the same vehicle. Because this tire size of 255/80R17 BFG KM2s, it makes it a tire load rating of 'E', which in turn is louder than when my orginal KMs were new. Also I had 255/75R17 that measure to have a tread width of 8inchs. When I recieve my new 255/80R17 (Note: The width is the same as orginal), my ACTUAL measure tread width was only 7 inches. So the KM2s run small.

These tires are on my dodge 2500 and I pull a 32ft goose neck and the tires are great, I wish I would of gotten the warranty for only 100.00 bucks next time, love the tires

Great tires so far still way too early to give feedback on wearability. They seem very tough and have good traction. So far they performed fine in the snow.
Because of the narrowness thatI wanted, the ride is a bit hard. They stand tall and look great and are E rated.

2011 GMC Sierra 4x4 with 17 inch stock rims
Putting a 2.5 inch level kit and want to run 255/80R17 BFG MT T/A KM2 tires...would these fit good?
I see online (pace auto sales in Miss) people put 2 inch leveling kits on silverados and sierras and run 35x12.50 on stock rims just fine.
