Purchased these for my '89 4runner with the typical solid axle swap, spooled rear, crawler gears etc. I drive the truck to town, work, use it for wheeling in deep snow and it gets a lot of tractor type use at the homestead. I will say these are MUCH more aggressive in this size compared to previous incarnations of this tried and true tire. Still quiet and ride nice but the tread profile is a bit more round and you get some rut worthy side lugs now. They were a bit harder to balance than I expected. Best tire took 4 OZ. Worst almost 13 OZ. Ultimately I just threw 12 OZ of lead shot in each tire and they run nice and true. I have a 2,000 mile road trip on these right now. No off road yet. I am satisfied with them so far. They are a bit sticky with the welded rear but I don't do a ton of around town so it should be fine for me. If I lived in town I would want a selectable locker to save scuffing the edges off on slow pavement turns of maybe run mud tires. In summary I think these are what I would call an "off road" style all terrain now, no longer a road baby all terrain.
