Not true direct fit. Picture not totally correct; top radiator hose fitting is toward the center and protrudes above the rest of radiator. Requires cutting radiator hose to make it fit. Radiator leaked when installed. The overflow fitting on the filler neck was leaking coolant intermittently. Hard to find leak since fan was blowing the leaked coolant everywhere. I would find coolant on the ground under the Jeep, but not right away. Eventually the fitting fell out of the radiator neck. Known problem by BE Cool; recommended fix is to Use Alumina Seal on the fitting and reinsert by hand. Recommended minimum CFM for the I-6 Jeep engine is 2,000 CFM; only a 1,400 CFM electric fan will fit. To solve this problem I moved the entire grill assembly forward 1/2" with spacers & redrilling side to side holes. With this modification the stock mechanical fan fill fit as will a large electric fan. Initial testing looked good. Driving up a mountain road with the A/C on the engine temperature was 210 degrees; the same as on a flat road. (Note: I also use an electric fan between the grill and A/C radiator.) Transmission temperature reached 225 degrees. (Note: I also use a 24" heat sink.)
I really like the new chopped corners. Made a huge difference in the fit near the power steering lines and steering box. I don't run an electric fan and would recommend cutting off the mounting arms for those who also don't run electric fans. I left them on my last one and my belt driven fan managed to catch one of them. Made for a challenging trail fix on both fan and radiator.
Q: will I be able to use my fan shroud without having to do modifications? Answer this question
A: Hello Spoke to Be Cool and yes it does take some modification to make it work. He had stated it was very minor mod's that needed to be done. Thanks

Be Cool Radiators is based in Essexville, Michigan and was founded in 1994. Original founder Roger Rosebush had been involved in motorsports since adolescence and back in the day, he and his siblings built out a 57 Chevy with a 427 big block engine and used it for illegal street racing. Rosebush became hooked on designing and building more and more powerful engines and this endeavor eventually led him into professional race car driving. Motorsports evolved into a desire to engineer better cooling systems for ever more powerful engines. Be Cool Radiators has, from its founding, had one focus: making the best easy-install, bolt-in aluminum radiators for your Jeep. Shop Be Cool Now
