    4.0 The good and the Bad.

    Great product! But service Sucks! Was told by service manager 2-3 hours install time, which was good news since I had a 2 hour drive time just to get to the store. Got to the store a little before 10 am and though I would be heading home by 2 pm. Well, l kept calling and calling and finally at 530 pm l received a call that it was done, only 7 1/2 hours later. Was told they had no problems, but they would not tell me why it took 5 hours longer than normal. Product gets 5 stars, Your service gets 1 star.

    Q: Does this Cylinder come as a complete kit with everything needed for installation include?if its a kit can you list whats included. I have a 98 24vavle cummins and want to add a bd exhaust brake, It's a manual stick shift so id want a push/pull switch Answer this question

    A: I checked part #2033135 and it says it's for vehicles 1999-2002 and doesn't fit my 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 24vavle cummins. I've found part #2033137 fits my 98 Dodge Ram 24 valve but it doesn't list if this part #2033137 is a complete ready to instal kit or if it's just the cylinder. Thanks

    A: Please check out Part# 2033137 for your 98 Dodge 24V Cummins engine. Part# 2033137 includes: DFIV (Idle Verifier) application kit, vacuum spool valve kit, exhaust brake, Dodge brake adapter casting, Dodge brake adapter clamp, turbo adapter gasket, HX35 exhaust outlet gasket, and 30” 3/8” rubber hose.

    Q: part #2033137 says it won't fit a 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 24 valve cummins, it only goes for 1999-2002. Although I've come across part # 2033135 as it fits my year make and model truck but it doesn't list if it's a complete kit ready to install. thanks Answer this question

    A: Hello Loren They are designed to run off the vacuum pump which runs the a/c & heating ducts and power brakes on the earlier diesels. Thanks

    A: Hello Earl, Thank you for the question. Installation time is anywhere from 4 to 6 hours. This unit comes with everything you will need to install and drive.

    Q: is this just the brake or it comes with the shifter switch also? Answer this question

    A: The Bd Diesel Original Xhaust Brake does not come with a shifter switch, it comes with a micro switch that attaches to the throttle linkage.
