The LED might be a centimeter too big for shield creating pocket behind adhesive to hide dirt and water. Other than that, everything else about this is great and easy to install.

This hood deflector was exactly what I was looking for. I wasn’t a fan of the dimpled texture, so I sanded it smooth and then painted it to match the truck. It was fairly simple to install, followed instructions and prep the area before apply to the truck. IMO the lights were a little bit too bright, which wasn’t a big deal, I put a piece of tint on it and it came out perfect. I’m really happy with the product & love how it added a subtle improvement to the look of the truck.

I purchased this lighted hood protecter for my ‘16 Rubicon. The ONLY issue I had, was the passenger side part of the lights in the strip went out within just a few months. I called AVS, they sent me a new strip, without any issue, & very quickly. Although, It was a challenge changing it. The wiring goes through a small hole in the hood guard , to hide the wire and go back under the hood, I had to get creative wiring the new strip back through. Because once the bug protector is on, it’s not coming off. Otherwise I’d give it 5 stars ⭐️ Still, I would recommend this hood protector!
