Can this fit in my 1999 Tacoma prerunner. It currently has an open diff.

Asked by Drew from Torrance on

Hello Drew This is for the older non Tacoma 8 inch axles found in the 95 and older trucks. We do offer the Eaton True-Trac for the 8.4 axle found in your truck. Toyota calls your axle an 8 inch but they are really an 8.4 inch. Here is a link to the True-Trac Thanks

Auburn Gear's differentials are produced from design to production in their 250,000 sq. ft. plant in Auburn, Indiana. Auburn Gear has been in the manufacturing business in the United States for 60 years. Before making differentials for Jeeps, Auburn Gear manufactured for the busing, aerial lift, agricultural, mining, forest, marine and heavy construction industries. In addition to the plant itself, Auburn Gear's property includes 44 acres. So when they design differentials, they actually install them in Jeeps and then drive them around the trails on their own property to see how they perform. This is how Auburn Gear brings customers excellent quality and we proudly carry many of their products. Shop Auburn Gear Now
